Overview

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for reporting and compliance activities performed within the US Government Compliance team.  Additional duties include various setup and maintenance projects within SAP, audit support and liaison, and data support for various reporting requirements. This role regularly interacts with mid to senior level management in Accounting and Finance, Operations, and Information Technology Services to discuss and resolve issues, or recommend improved business practices and processes.  As an Analyst, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and communication with other staff to understand processes and controls are key to your success.

This position is an entry-level position with a career path to becoming a Senior Compliance Analyst. It provides opportunities to learn and understand Esri’s systems, processes, and controls, and to interact with various departments and colleagues across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Perform material mapping and maintenance, and project setup and maintenance within SAP
  • Perform labor reconciliations, labor transfers, and payroll and timesheet reviews
  • Responsible for various audits on business systems and controls
  • Assist process owners with policies and procedures reviews
  • Complete annual incurred cost proposal
  • Gather information and complete required surveys, procurement fee payments, and other government reporting

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounting or Audit
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, and problem solving
  • Ability to develop strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs
  • Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, or a related field

Recommended Qualifications

  • SAP experience or other major ERP system
  • Master’s in accounting, finance, or a related field 
  • CPA, CIA, or similar Accounting Certificate
  • Experience with a public accounting firm and/or corporate industry experience, with an emphasis on financial and accounting applications controls

$64,480$82,160 USD
