Job Description

The CDO DQ Product Lead is accountable for management of large professional disciplinary This role is a critical member of the Chief Data Office – Data Tooling Strategy function. The Data Quality Product Senior Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities

  • Develops guidelines for the definition and maintenance of Data Profiling, Data Quality Rules, configuration, and execution of DQ Assessments, monitoring of DQ operations and of DQ results including DQ actions to remedy DQ breakages, and consolidation and reporting of DQ results.
  • Develops guidelines for the definition and maintenance of Data Tracing requirements and documents starting from a specified Consumption point through origination of data.
  • Fully understands strategies and guidelines for the definition and maintenance of Business Glossaries, and Data Quality Requirements (DQR).
  • Fully understands strategies and guidelines around data ownership, data at rest and in motion, and data models including Conceptual, Logical and Physical views.
  • Fully understands strategies and guidelines around the designation of Authority Roles for Systems of Record and Authorized Redistributors (SOR/AR) for data offerings.
  • Directs the development of business requirements for line of business (LOB) specific and enterprise-wide capabilities supporting DQ and communicates such requirements to appropriate technology teams via key business requirements, or related means including agile methodology.
  • Develops training programs to assist LOB groups in utilization and adoption of tooling.
  • Delivers against ambitious business objectives.
  • Provides platform, product, and customer experience leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engages with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative financial platform products.
  • Responsible for the overall vision, technical capabilities and roadmaps of the digital product platform.
  • Engages with businesses and shape business and product requirements in to platform requirements.
  • Owns the overall platform business plans and roadmaps.
  • Drives product development for new initiatives.
  • Makes appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market.
  • Maintains the product roadmap, and clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes throughout the company.
  • Develops training programs to assist LOB groups in utilization and adoption of tooling capabilities addressing DQ.
  • Oversees data integration and metadata migration activities and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for DQ tooling functionality delivery.
  • Applies comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures around Enterprise Data Taxonomy and Controlled Vocabularies within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.
  • Works with Project Management Office (PMO) to maintain, create and signoff of program plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log.
  • Responsible for reporting findings, and recommending appropriate technology interventions, where needed.
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience.
  • Advanced degree. Banking product and systems experience.
  • Experience leading digital initiatives.
  • Extensive experience working with engineers and developers to understand what is technically possible, how to translate customer requirements.
  • Strategic, results-driven leader who is passionate about designing best-in-class digital experiences and staying at the forefront of cutting-edge technology in the servicing space.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
  • Certified Information Management Professional with emphasis on Data Governance and/or Data Stewardship or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency and understanding of DAMA-DMBOK Data Management Body of Knowledge or similar Data Governance approaches.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication, attention to detail and consistency when documenting or delivering materials required for performing assigned responsibilities.
  • Great team member and partner.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$125,600.00 - $188,400.00
