From automating order ingestion and processing, through optimizing the production floor and integrating with global shippers – HP’s software solutions help customers to increase demand, eliminate touch points, reduce manufacturing costs and tap into new business opportunities.

We are seeking an experienced Software Product Manager to lead the development of innovative, AI-powered solutions for print service providers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both software development and the print industry, with the ability to leverage artificial intelligence to identify customer needs, optimize workflows, and enhance product capabilities. You will be responsible for driving product strategy, managing cross-functional teams, and integrating AI-driven features to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and efficiency of our customers’ operations, enabling them to deliver high-quality, intelligent print services at scale.


Responsibilities

  • Establish and communicate the overall product vision and strategy, aligned with business goals and long-term objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, UI/UX, customer success, marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive product development and execution.
  • Partner with stakeholders to co-lead the discovery process, identifying unmet customer needs and value creation opportunities that can drive product innovation.
  • Identify and establish key success metrics that will define and measure customer success, ensuring alignment with product goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Define the product's business model and value capture thesis, ensuring alignment with market demands and revenue goals.
  • Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer needs, market trends, and business value, while ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in the continuous delivery of product features by engaging actively in PODS meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospective sessions, providing leadership and direction to ensure progress.
  • Monitor and measure the product’s performance against key metrics, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making and continuous improvements.
     

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in product management, digital or software product development, or a related field. A relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.


Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies, particularly agile practices like Scrum, and familiarity with cloud technologies, APIs, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and automation technologies, particularly in applying these to optimize print workflows and enhance product offerings.
  • Proven experience managing the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to development, launch, and post-launch improvements.
  • Strong business sense with the ability to define and execute product strategies that drive revenue growth, value capture, and market differentiation.
  • Ability to analyze data and key metrics to inform decisions, track product performance, and identify opportunities for product improvements.
  • Experience working closely with customers to understand their needs, translate them into product requirements, and deliver solutions that create value and enhance user experience.
  • Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, UI/UX, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically to identify innovative solutions and drive product differentiation in a competitive market.
  • Knowledge of the print industry, including print workflows, print management systems, and emerging technologies such as digital printing and on-demand printing solutions – a strong advantage
