Responsibilities
- Develop a global communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics, which aligns with the wider global marketing plan and business direction
- Seek to ensure Infobip derive optimal value from Telco membership subscriptions like GSMA, MEF and Global leadership forum (GLF).
- Act as one of the main Infobip contact points, maintaining visibility of Infobip engagement across all strands of activity.
- Actively engage with GSMA, MEF and GLF to pitch for speaking opportunities and for PR opportunities related to speaking opportunities and our memberships.
- Use these memberships to build direct relationships with journalists, Tier 1 and 2.
- Monitor working group activity, evaluate and facilitate Infobip involvement in conjunction with internal PM/PMM and BD stakeholders.
- Working closely with the CSR teams to ensure communications celebrates Infobip’s culture and ESG focus.
- Working together with the leadership to reach media who covers EU-related topics.
- Use PR platforms to push out Infobip messaging, white papers, blogs and press release
- Responsible for the development of Infobip’s global communications content, including global press releases, financial and corporate updates, and keynote presentations
- Leverage global existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within global business and industry media
- Be a trusted advisor on potential reputational challenges and crisis management.
- Manage global media inquiries and interview requests
- Work with key stakeholders across the business – partner, sales, marketing, developer and startup – to provide PR support for initiatives and ensure priorities are communicated by the right voices
- Monitor, analyze and communicate global PR results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Brief global spokespeople on communicating with the media
Requirements and skills
- 8+ years’ experience as a communications leader
- Excellent written and verbal knowledge of English language
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple markets and stakeholders
- Proven ability to work with full autonomy and to drive projects
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations on-site and online campaigns
- Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
- Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Proven experience in working with top management (C-level)
- Willingness to travel
- Knowledge of large, global enterprises technologies
- Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
