WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will partner with internal and external functional teams to maximize Nike’s brand presence with DICK’S, primarily through digital/social, retail brand, and activations.  This role will report directly to the Director, DICK’S Marketing and will manage agency partnerships and Nike resources to continuously evolve the DICK’S offense, elevate this key account, and ensure executional excellence.  Data measurement and KPI accountability will be a point of emphasis in collaboration with Partner Marketing and Brand stakeholders.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a member of the DICK’S Marketing Team in North America, we are looking for someone to elevate and evolve the Nike brand by planning and executing seasonal and 365 programming against our overarching marketing strategy for North America as well as our strategy for Men's & Women's Fitness at DICK’S.  Ideal candidates must have a strong marketing background and understanding of digital marketing.  They must be a motivated self-starter and resourceful.

Candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training

• 5+ years or more of work experience in a digital or brand marketing role, including working within a cross-functional or cross-category team

• Strong understanding of brand marketing, as well as a strong working knowledge of other digital channels including apps, performance marketing and social media

• Experience working in a high pressure, fast-paced environment

• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while also remaining detail oriented

• Previous experience with managing budgets and having a proven record of demonstrating strong return on investment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations on complex business issues 

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead seasonal and “always-on” programming for Nike Fitness and will be responsible for driving initiatives from start to finish. You will draft and develop briefs—with input from internal functions and your DICK’S counter-parts—and you will lead the execution of plans, with the support of a Marketing Specialist.  You will be responsible for developing effective digital and in-store strategies and tactics. You will be responsible for internal reporting, presenting of plans, and debriefs.

• Lead the development and execution of Men’s & Women’s Fitness programming at DICK’S

• Create seasonal plans that support key product launches and sport and consumer moments

• Lead the programming associated with evergreen / ”always on” programming; you will be responsible for maximizing and evolving these platforms

 channels including apps, performance marketing and social media

• Plan and communicate plans with internal and external functions and stakeholders, including DICK’S marketing team

• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while also remaining detail oriented
