Job Description:

GDIT has been supporting the IHS mission for 20+ years; working with the agency to provide integral services to raise health access and availability to 2.6 million American Indians and Alaska Natives. You'll be part of modernizing the EHR platform to enable better data access, patient experience, and quality of care for 567 tribes, 37 states and over 600 medical facilities.

Our work depends on an OCM and Training Senior Manager  joining our team to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) program. This role is critical in driving successful adoption of the new EHR system across diverse healthcare settings, ensuring stakeholders are informed, engaged, and equipped for change.

This position is fully remote!

This role requires you to obtain and maintain an in-depth Public Trust Level 5. This investigation will review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications.

Responsibilities

  • Organizational Change Management (OCM):
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive OCM strategy aligned with program goals.
    • Assess organizational readiness and identify change impacts across IHS facilities.
    • Partner with leadership to manage stakeholder engagement and resistance.
  • Training & Adoption:
    • Design and implement training programs tailored to clinical, administrative, and technical audiences.
    • Create accurate, user-friendly learning materials and facilitate hands-on sessions.
    • Monitor adoption metrics and adjust strategies to optimize user experience.
  • Communications:
    • Develop clear, consistent messaging to inform and engage stakeholders throughout the modernization journey.
    • Manage communication channels, including newsletters, webinars, and FAQs.
    • Serve as a liaison between program teams and end-users to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Contractor Relationship Management:
    • Coordinate and maintain strong working relationships with other contractors and vendors in the program ecosystem.
    • Ensure alignment of OCM, training, and communication activities across multiple partners.
    • Facilitate collaboration and resolve interdependencies effectively.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare projects.
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale technology implementations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations and EHR systems
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with federal health programs is preferred.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.

Preferred Certifications

  • PROSCI or equivalent certification in Change Management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
  • Training and Development certifications (e.g., ATD, CPTD).

The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $178,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
