Red Hat is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager to lead our Center of Excellence team within the Partner Engagement Experience Organization and Programs organization. This role will be pivotal in driving process improvement initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong business process management skills, the ability to analyze and enhance existing processes, and a talent for developing high-performing teams. They will need to be able to identify through data analysis focus areas for improvement, and pull in data to drive towards decision and path forward.  This individual will need to be comfortable working in a matrixed structure, managing across multiple cross functional stakeholders. 

What you will do:

  • Process Improvement and Operational Excellence:

    • Lead cross functional teams focused on enhancing business processes through effective measurement, accountability, and analysis that will support the Programs and Incentives and the geo execution groups  on the Partner Engagement Experience Teams. 

    • Facilitate discussions around process alternatives to identify and implement best practices.

    • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team that will need to plan and execute within a matrixed organization 

  • Operational Support Management:

    • Plan, manage, and prioritize  the activities of the team responsible for operational support within the organization.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on process improvement and operational objectives.

    • Ensure on time delivery against priorities to internal stakeholders

  • Expertise Identification and Development:

    • Identify and engage subject matter experts to support multi-functional process improvement efforts.

    • Develop and oversee strategies for data capture, analysis, and compliance with operational procedures.

  • Strategic Advisory Role:

    • Provide strategic direction to PEX on initiative prioritization and resource allocation.

    • Ensure alignment of policies and procedures with the PEX vision and objectives.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in business process management or operational excellence roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.

  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience with people management, and strong team leadership skills across a matrixed organization

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies; experience with process improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.

  • Experience with Sales Cloud, CRMs/PRMs and data analysis.

The salary range for this position is $131,810.00 - $217,490.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
