Job Description

As a Senior Advisor, Experimentation, you will play a pivotal role in discovering and validating innovative ways to enhance our business outcomes. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of experimentation, supporting training, governance, planning, and processes that enable robust decision science and testing methodologies across our digital experiences. Your work will directly contribute to creating personalized supporter journeys and driving impactful engagement as a member of the ALSAC Digital Product Insights and Enablement team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experimentation Leadership: Apply the scientific method to identify and validate new strategies for donor and supporter engagement.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize rigorous qualitative and quantitative data to advise on experimentation opportunities and monitor performance, translating complex information into actionable recommendations.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to devise and optimize strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and audience needs.
  • Test Management: Oversee various types of tests and research efforts, including A/B tests, multivariate tests, usability tests, surveys, field studies, and customer call center data mining.
  • Process Improvement: Create documentation and roadmaps for experimentation efforts, seeking opportunities to automate processes and develop testing frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, managing relationships across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Cognitive Science, or Information Science.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in user research, including usability testing, online surveys, focus groups, user observation, and field research.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts.
  • Design Knowledge: Familiarity with user interface design processes, user-centered design principles, and practices.
  • Strategic Thinking: Excellent conceptual and strategic thinking skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and rapidly changing technology.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of current technology offerings and emerging trends.
  • Testing Expertise: Proficiency in testing methodologies and user acceptance techniques to enhance products.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate recommendations to diverse audiences.
