Job Summary

Engineer to work in local vehicle development as Program Management staff.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional program development activities to ensure completion of key milestones and vehicle Quality/Cost/Timing
• Support Chief Vehicle Engineer to develop/complete program metrics/direction to achieve overall vehicle target
• Develop project schedules and manage by him/herself critical path
• Monitor metrics, identify key issues, bring 'decision ready' issues forward to chief engineer
• Be the liaison between engineering and outside organizations (manufacturing, Purchasing, product planning, OPD, etc).
• Ensure project stays on schedule and on budget.
• Be able to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally within the Nissan organization.
• Predicts potential Quality/Cost/Timing concerns and proactively propose actions to avoid or recover.
• Guide other team-mates activities regarding Project Management
• Be accountable for all deliverables/actions inside the project

Job Knowledge:

• Good overview of Project Management
• Product Development and/or MFG & Process Engineering knowhow
• Experience working in a multicultural environment

Skills:

• Administration/leadership skill, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and Outlook
• Interpersonal & communication skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field
• Post Graduation/MBA is an advantage

Language

Able to communicate verbal and written English
