Job Overview:

The Product Owner has a key role in providing data-driven insights that inform product decisions. They work intimately with the product team, including developers, designers, and testers to help shape the product’s features and roadmap by conducting market and customer research, gathering business and technical requirements, and monitoring product performance. The work of the product owner will directly contribute to delivering a product that meets customer needs and drives business growth.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to drive feature development and product improvements.
  • Support the development of customer journey maps and product innovation roadmaps.
  • Collaborate closely with digital product managers, developers, and designers to implement product enhancements based on business requirements.
  • Facilitate and actively participate in agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Develop effective reports and documents to communicate findings and analysis to product team and business stakeholders.
  • Support the digital product manager in defining the product roadmap and prioritizing features.
  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria for the product backlog.
  • Identify and instill best innovative practices, maximizing the value of existing technology and methodologies.
  • Perform all other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Knowledge of customer journey management, digital product management, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of product delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative with experience working on an Agile team.

Experience (Minimum Required):  

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the life sciences or health sector.
  • Experience with market and customer research techniques.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Certification in product management, data analytics, or customer experience.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with a programming language like Python or R for data handling and analysis is a plus.
