The IT Business Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Responsibilities:
Required Skills and Experience:
1. SQL working knowledge
Currently working in financial service experience is an ideal plus 3-5+ years of business and functional analysis, influence stakeholders and development teams on business/technical acumen and implementation solutions aligned with project objectives
2. 5 to years of relevant experience of system integrations in the financial services ideally in
Capital Markets/Brokerage Services area specially in clearing, custody, settlements, securities lending, financing and working in Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office.
3. Understanding of the different project methodologies: Agile Project Methodology, Six Sigma, or Software Development Life Cycle or Project Management (PMP) Certification (good to have) . Across teams effectively
4. Excellent communication in both reading and verbal, interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills.
5. Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
6. Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and large global teams and lead multiple activities and build/develop working relationships.
7. Ability to understand problems, independently perform data and reporting analysis, propose and review solutions to business and development users
8. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence solutions.
9. Demonstrated ability to be work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines with proactive, decisiveness and flexibility.
10. Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly.
11. Excellent in defining business strategies/requirements.
12. Strong project management and proven delivery to lead large project implementation.
13. Strong understanding of database and system integration design and development life cycle.
14. Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Management, Business, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering preferred.
Ability to use SQL queries for data analysis, Jira and Confluence. Master's degree preferred. Understanding of trade lifecycle & trading systems and trade clearing and execution. Product design and delivery. Data analytics system and data design.
