The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
•    Review and Analysis of Legal Documents :  Review and analyze legal documents such as leases, reciprocal easement agreements, operating agreements, covenants, conditions and restriction agreements, partnership agreements, loan documents, and other similar contracts, including for analysis of restrictive covenants such as those governing land use, building heights, permissible building areas, required access ways, etc.  Preparation of research result summary memo and result chart in consultation with assigned attorney and developer.
•    File Management :  Maintain the computerized file database (“TyMetrix”) and hard copy file.  Update each matter with accurate, up-to-date information within twenty-four (24) hours of file activity.  Open hard copy file and TyMetrix matter with accurate information.  Input and track all critical and procedurally important dates.  Consistently monitor all open matters on no more than a thirty (30) day diary unless directed otherwise by the assigned attorney.  Accurately, report all relevant financial data, including but not limited to value of pending deal(s), and outside counsel fees spent to date.  Close TyMetrix and hard file promptly upon completion of matter.
•    Document Drafting and Preparation :  Timely prepare initial drafts of commonly-used form documents, including but not limited to purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, big-box leases, covenants, conditions and restriction agreements, estoppel letters, lease exhibits, and closing documents in close consultation with the assigned attorney.
•    Title and Survey Matters :  Work closely with assigned attorney to review title encumbrances and land survey items.  Review, respond to, and assist in the resolution of title and survey objections as they arise in the course of due diligence investigations.
•    Administrative Matters :  Timely review, comment upon, approve and input invoices into TyMetrix and other tracking systems.  Prepare check requests and other routine correspondence.  Prepare reports covering various items as requested by attorneys, auditors, partners and lenders.  Complete other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
•       Minimum of 5 years applicable legal experience preferred, but not required.
•         Paralegal Certificate or degree required.
•         Real Estate/Title experience and knowledge of legal procedures preferred.
•         Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
•         Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
•         Demonstrated ability to interact at a professional level with all forms of communication.
•         Ability to take initiative and to work independently.
•         Knowledge of corporate entities and business organizations helpful.
•         Prior in-house corporate legal experience helpful.
