Job Summary

Job Description

I. Responsibilities:

1. Compile and analyze accounting information and prepare U.S. federal income tax returns pertaining to Nidec non-US affiliates, such as Forms 5471, 5472 and 8858. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

2. Prepare international compliance computations for earnings and profits, Subpart F, GILTI, and FDII

3. Perform review of non-US affiliate income tax provisions consistent with IAS 12

4. Assist in preparation and analysis of financial information for Transfer Pricing Documentation

5. Prepare documentation with respect to global reporting initiatives

6. Assist in analysis for tax planning opportunities.

7. Participate in and/or lead implementation of process improvements.

8. Complete special projects and other compliance tasks.

9. Collaborate with the tax department and business units to maintain accuracy and efficiency on all tax preparation and reporting activities.

II. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. 
  • 0-2 years of relevant corporate tax experience at a corporation and/or CPA firm
  • Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented

The International Tax Analyst will report to the NAHC Senior, International Tax.
