Job Description:

General Description:  This position provides leadership to entity, regional, and service line leadership teams and provides timely communication to these stakeholders with regards to system strategies. The Admin Dir Clinical Services Growth Planning understands the markets in which the entities/regions/service lines operate within and supports the translation of system-wide strategic priorities and goals into implementable tactical plans and activities. This position also provides direction and leadership to team members within the Marketing and Growth office and oversees the recruitment and on-going development of employees within the Business Development and Innovation team.

  • Assists in the analysis, development, and recommendation of clinical service growth plans that aligns with enterprise strategies
  • Collaborates with OU Health leaders in development, execution and management of formal and systematic planning projects
  • Leads and supports cross—enterprise initiatives spanning growth strategy and operational excellence by directly scoping, executing, controlling and closing strategy projects
  • Leads large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives by working across OU Health entities
  • Leads in a team environment within the Business Development and Innovation team and with key OU Health clients
  • Promotes professional development of team members to enhance their skills and capabilities through project work
  • Assists in the creation, administration, and implementation of the business development strategies and tactics for the company
  • Ongoing oversight of project management and execution of related action plans
  • Evaluates and investigates of new technology, public policies and environmental activities that have an impact on operation; remains current on regulatory standards impacting health system operations
  • Develops and executes projects that are part of strategic plan and plan for services, facilities and operations of the organization
  • Directs and coordinates development of projects and reports monitoring service volumes, service mix, payor mix and capacity needs
  • Coordinates and supports development of annual and multi-year objectives. Provides a system that monitors progress towards those objectives and reports them to appropriate executive levels
  • Coordinates compilation of information required by outside entities and prepares reports as needed to build business case for leadership review and approval
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required.  Master’s degree in Health or Business preferred.

Experience:  Five (5) years of experience with planning, analytics and project management responsibilities is required. Preferred degree can substitute for two (2) of the required years of experience. Prior consulting experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
