Delivering disruptive digital strategies to maximize brand concepts in service of our greater vision of making athlete dreams real.

This role will report to the Global Digital Marketing Director for Running. You will work closely with Global Brand Management, Integrated Media, Social, Comms, Sports Marketing, Creative, and Business leads, in Global as well as with Geography partners in North America, APLA, Greater China and EMEA. You will also manage agencies and partners to bring strategies to life, as needed.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Global Digital Marketing Lead for Running will lead distinctive and disruptive digital strategies and plans that expand Nike’s brand connection & influence with runners. They should have a strong passion for running, as well as a pulse on what’s happening in running culture, the community, and competitor landscape.

The ideal candidate will bring a desire to be part of a fast-paced, high-energy team of digital marketers who are hungry to spearhead the industry. The ability to think creatively, take calculated risks, and have a passion for crafting breakthrough, impactful and innovative digital marketing strategies & plans is a must.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training.
  • 5+ years of experience driving digital marketing at a global, geo and/or city level.
  • An understanding of running product and a strong point of view on how we can use digital experiences & Nike-only distinction to inspire, educate, and serve runners.
  • Great interpersonal skills and team first attitude across everything they do.
  • Ability to drive effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • A strong sense of personal accountability, a bias for action, and an ability to work autonomously.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead & oversee seasonal digital marketing plans for Running, delivering both disruptive ideas to ignite the brand as well as orchestrating digital experiences to drive growth for Nike Running footwear and apparel. Additionally, you will:

  • Be responsible for developing & delivering breakthrough digital marketing ideas, strategic plans & campaigns against Nike Running’s lead seasonal concepts.
  • Help cultivate relationships with runners where they are off-platform and create compelling hooks to bring them on-platform to experience running products, athletes, stories, and communities in new ways.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of the integrated, global digital marketing plan from brief to completion.
  • Leverage deep marketplace and consumer insights to shape the seasonal brief, as well as the disruptive ideas that ladder into the objectives & outcomes of the plan.
  • Establish clear objectives and outcomes with our global cross-functional and geo digital marketing partners to help drive and influence the work.
  • Drive strong internal cross-functional and external agency partnerships that helps foster positive communication and a collaborative work environment.
