The Counsel role will review, draft, and negotiate complex legal agreements and related amendments in Spanish and English for the CSG Americas region.  You will provide legal advice and counsel to all levels of corporate management within Latin America as directed by Lead Counsel, Chief Counsel and/or Associate General Counsel.

We are looking for an Attorney who will:

• Review, draft and negotiate complex legal agreements and related amendments, commercial agreements and RFPs within the applicable region
• Provide legal advice and counsel to all levels of corporate management in support of the company’s operations in Latin America
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and risk management policies to minimize and limit corporate liability, manage risk, and optimize value of contracts
• Oversee and monitor changes and compliance with applicable statues and regulations, review pertinent laws and regulations 
• Create trainings, business legal reports and other communications and effectively present information to senior management
• Recommend alternative actions as required to conform with corporate policies and strategies
• Oversee outside counsel in administrative and judicial proceedings; Represent company in administrative and judicial proceedings not handled by outside counsel
• Assist management with employment law concerns, contracts, claims and creating company policies

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Colombian qualified attorney
• Up to 7 years legal experience
• Previous IT industry experience
• Experience in drafting, advising on and negotiating basic legal agreements
• Strong analytic capabilities and superior written and oral communication skills
• Effective negotiator with strong business acumen and ability to serve as a business advisor
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, manage multiple projects simultaneously under time pressure and consistently meet deadlines with high quality work product
• Sound judgment, excellent interpersonal skills with proven experience in relationship building and partnering
• Ability to work across multiple product offerings and advise in general corporate legal disciplines with a technology-focus, on items such as licensing, privacy, compliance and human resources
• Ability to use a personal computer with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
• Ability to travel internationally/domestically up to 10%
