The Job:
This is a career developing position aimed at taking you and our current product management set-up for Components portfolio for flat roofing in the Nordic region to the next level.
The Nordic Product Manager for Components will be a key person for driving the growth of our components business across the Nordics. Key responsibilities include identifying market gaps, developing tailored solutions, creating business cases, and overseeing implementation projects—all with a strong focus on ensuring profitability through the development of systems and solutions where components are critical.
This position will have functional management responsibility with indirect leadership of team members across the Nordics and Group organisation.
We believe you are based either at our Danish headquarters in Nørresundby, Ålborg, or from a home office in the Copenhagen area. The role requires regular travelling between the offices in the Nordics. There will also be some limited travelling to the BMI Technical Centre outside Frankfurt and relevant production sites.
Your Main Tasks:
From a holistic Nordic perspective be responsible for managing and optimising dedicated parts of the Icopal brand components portfolio including life cycle management and SKU Optimization.
With sustainability in mind, be involved in defining a clear Nordic portfolio strategy.
Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead in the market.
Identify market opportunities and gaps and develop products and systems.
Be involved in shaping the 3-5-year Nordic roadmap (aligned with the Group strategy)
Analyze customer needs, behaviors, and market data to translate insights into actionable product requirements.
Develop business cases for new opportunities across the Nordic region.
With sustainability in focus, drive the development of products and systems that are attractive to the entire value chain and enhance the portfolio.
Equip the sales force with tools for value-selling, including clear messaging for new products and systems.
Responsible for delivering data for new products to the local Product Data Specialists.
Maintain and provide documentation for new products and solutions in compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with third-party suppliers and procurement to strengthen and expand the components portfolio.
Lead change through influential and collaborative management.
Your Experience:
Ideally you hold a university degree in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or similar.
Furthermore, you have a proven track record of minimum 5 years in a similar challenging manager position, within Product and Project Management, from a large international player, ideally within the building and construction industry, consumer electronics, consumer goods or power tool industry.
You have solid experience from stakeholder management as well as a strong business acumen including understanding of the drivers behind product profitability. Having experience from working with third-party suppliers is beneficial.
