Technical Business Analyst


 

What you will be doing:

The Technical Business Analyst position will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of various Business Intelligence solutions for Remitra. This will require an end-to-end understanding of each solutions business context, architecture, data requirements, and how those work together to meet the customer’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility #1 – 100%

  • Work both independently and with internal users, business analysts, and engineering to interpret requests and implement new reporting tools/dashboards.

  • Provide guidance and recommend enhancements for existing reporting tools utilized by internal users and external customers.

  • Document and respond to user questions and communicate issues to business analysts and/or engineering.

  • Investigate database management issues and ultimately implement solutions to proactively identify and resolve prior to escalation.

  • Assist in developing documentation and processes for future team members to quickly understand and adopt new processes.

  • Perform daily ad hoc and structured analysis utilizing advanced analytical skills.  

  • Identify potential areas of improvement within the business and utilize data analysis and business intelligence tools to enhance overall efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Skills:

  • 3+ years of data analysis/reporting experience, business analysis in healthcare is a plus.
  • 2+ years of SQL knowledge required, BigQuery is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of Tableau experience required.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite required.
  • High attention to detail with a strong analytical focus. 
  • Self-directed and resourceful, can think critically, troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
  • Experience in effectively communicating complex ideas with non-technical partners.
  • Comfortable with collaborating across cross functional teams and over multiple geographic locations

Experience:

Technical background with business understanding preferred: business analysis, data analysis, finance, data management, supply chain management, business statistics.

Education:

Bachelor's degree

Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.


 

Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $64,000 - $118,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
