Posting: Business Project Manager - Digital Transformation

(Contract ending November 11, 2025)

This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote and in-office working.

Role Overview:

As Business Project Manager - Digital Transformation, you will play a key role in leading business change management initiatives in support of Digital Transformation initiatives. You will lead change management projects, provide comprehensive support to business led activities on company-wide projects, and enhance the organization’s capabilities to enhance client experience and improve operational efficiency. In this role, you will also be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting on progress of digitalization initiatives.

Business Project Management:

  • Plan and lead execution of business change management projects to successful completion, supporting business stakeholders in achieving desired improvement in support of the digitalization strategy.
  • Support business stakeholders in achieving desired improvement in support of the digitalization strategy.
  • Plans and executes business initiatives that drive digitalization by:
    • Identifying resources required.
    • Developing a project plan with milestones.
    • Leading change management planning and execution activities.
    • Directing and managing day to day assigned tasks.
    • Collaborating with technology and business stakeholders.
    • Managing vendor and client relationships as required.

Support Digitalization Efforts:

  • Lead discovery work for business initiatives supporting digitalization as required.
  • Lead customer journey mapping exercises with business stakeholders and complete the related documentation.
  • Prepare effective communications and presentations for working teams and senior management.
  • Supports digitalization initiatives by providing business oversight, documenting needs/requirements, and driving effective change management practices.
  • Engage with strategic business and technology initiatives focused on enhanced client experience and/or operational effectiveness.
  • Contributes to development of collaborative solutions, by leveraging technology and business expertise across Fidelity enterprise, and focusing on integrated, long-term strategy (no silos).

Monitor and track progress of initiatives:

  • Solicit input from key stakeholders to track and report on progress of digitalization initiatives.
  • Monitor and track costs, benefits, and other key performance indicators for the digitalization portfolio.
  • Manage reporting on digitalization initiatives for FIC.
  • Support the preparation of effective communications and presentations for business stakeholders and senior management.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum College degree (3-year program). Post-secondary education in the areas of IT, Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years work experience in roles related to Project Management, or Business Analysis/Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the financial industry.
  • Customer journey mapping experience is an asset.
  • PowerPoint experience and deck creation is an asset.
