Roles and Responsibilities

  • Linear/Non Linear Simulations of component and assembly level using ANSYS Software for NPD, also able to analyze design failure and optimize component/system
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis(FEA) to simulate stress, shear, bending, torsional forces, moments, deflection, buckling and fatigue for assessment of the structural behavior of part and assembly
  • Can convert physical/field problems into Simulation problem (Boundary condition definition) independently
  • Proficient in Vibration analysis and corelating test results to simulation
  • Elastic non linearity problems and thermal structural simulation
  • Produce and present detailed FEA reports, effectively communicating findings to Design Engineers and Team
  • Added advantage if proficient in multi body dynamics and is a key to most of problems in current products
  • Experience using other software like Creo simulation, Matlab, etc. is also an advantage
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess, identify and resolve design issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant engineering role with mechanical design and analysis
  • In-depth understanding of mechanical design fundamentals
  • In-depth understanding & use of Finite Element Methods tools
