You'll work on the Product Team bringing new features and capabilities to Immuta's product. This team is a highly skilled group of full stack engineers and designers that works with a variety of languages and technologies to build a reliable scalable application suite capable of integrating and virtualizing data across storage technologies and delivering data to users in a policy-compliant and audit-able manner.
YOUR ROLE
You will assist with the development and maintenance of Immuta's commercial product suite. Immuta's product addresses complex issues within enterprise IT including virtual data integration, data governance, data consumption for analytic purposes, and data scientist collaboration. This set of features is integrated into a single web UI to speed responsible data science.
You will be exposed to and work within Node.JS and AngularJS to help build a responsive and scalable web application. Additionally, they work with Docker to build a scalable collaboration environment as well as PostgreSQL (SQL and C) to integrate flexible policy management into Immuta's SQL connector.
Because of the data-centric aspect of the product, Product Engineering Interns also often work with a variety of databases and storage technologies to integrate compatibility with those technologies into the product.
We're looking for students who...
Are actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (ie. Computer Science), preferably in your 2nd or 3rd year
Are outstanding problem solvers and can tackle tough challenges with innovative thinking and determination.
Are good communicators and can work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Have a thorough understanding of at least one programming language and associated libraries and have a willingness to learn more.
