The Client Financial Resources Management (FRM) team provides in-business leadership and advisory services on capital, liquidity and tax efficiency across the firm, including all five business units (Banking, Markets, Services, Wealth and U.S. Personal Banking). The team exists to support intelligent deployment of financial resources by businesses across the firm via (1) effective capital resource management; (2) execution of risk mitigation and hedging strategies of Citi loan portfolios; and (3) initiatives and projects to improve returns.

The team is actively involved in analytical and advocacy efforts related to regulatory capital rules. You will work on a variety of different types of initiatives and develop a range of skills.

  • Developing research and analysis plans
  • Identifying and explaining both business drivers and technical issues,
  • Analyzing position and portfolio level data (financial, risk and returns metrics) to identify efficiency opportunities,
  • Quantitatively and qualitatively analyzing key capital, liquidity and tax rules and guidelines,
  • Acting as a bridge between Risk, Finance, Technology, and Businesses to identify and deliver financial resource management solutions

Who we think will be a great fit

* You will earn a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Science, Math, Financial Engineering, Physics, or related field by June 2026

* You currently maintain a 3.5 GPA or above

* Fundamental knowledge of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows) is desired

* Analytical aptitude regarding data analysis and quantitative strategies

* Experience assessing data for patterns to spot anomalies, with relational database systems and statistics packages (SAS, SQL, etc.), ability to coordinate processes and work as part of multiple teams across a firm, and familiarity with large scale data and querying ability is preferred

* Ability to visualize concepts and analytics, and contribute to impactful presentations

* Ability to work under pressure in a highly professional Front Office environment

* Superior attention to detail and level of accuracy

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

* Knowledge of asset classes or regulatory familiarity is a plus
