Responsibilities:
Participate in a team of software engineers to conduct verification of software applications and tools.
Work with software developers and product management to identify system and subsystem requirements.
Develop test cases and perform test execution in an efficient and timely manner.
Develop automated tests using C#, Selenium.
Develop, modify and execute software test plans.
Analyze product marketing requirements, design, code and test software.
Perform hands-on installation and configuration of SW components for the verification test environment.
Provide feedback on planning and status information.
Performing automation software testing using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards
Developing, modifying, and executing automation software test plans.
Maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective actions
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or a related technical field) and 4 + years of related working experience Or Masters Degree in Computer Science (or a related technical field) with 3+ years of related working experience.
Strong programming skills, preferably in C# and experience working with .NET framework.
Ability to demonstrate solid Object-Oriented Programming knowledge.
Proficiency in TFS, ADO, Git, CI/CD, TeamCity .
Professional work experience in testing of software.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodology, industry standard testing, and bug tracking tools.
Good written and verbal communication (English), and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on assigned tasks under tight time constraints.
Ability to do computer tasks with minimal supervision.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle.
Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
