Associate, Testing

The Associate Testing designs and develops and executes quality assurance programs and policies.

• Oversees creation of testing strategies, plans and project documentation using risk analysis methodologies and tools, aligning with development approach/methodology selected for the project.

• Manages creation, review and sign-off of testing documentation (e.g. test strategies, plans, schedule, cost estimates, test cases, dashboards, defect logs, test phase closure reports) and ensure all test artifacts adhere to testing standards and audit requirements.

• Tests and analyzes software to ensure compliance with specified standards and end-user requirements.

• Conducts test planning, writing test cases, test case automation, and test execution/defect tracking.

• Drafts, revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy.

• Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing.

• Plans, documents and directs system tests and resolves issues.

Qualifications:

• Education:  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

• Work Experience:  5+ years Designing and implementing Software Testing teams and capabilities from scratch. Banking experience is preferred but not required

• 5+ years’ experience in Functional testing experience in banking domain (auto financing is added value)

• 3+ years’ experience in C# based Selenium test automation.

• Strong expertise and experience in industry test automation tools, implementing tool frameworks, industry best practice, and coding standards. Demonstrable experience of test automation using C#, Selenium, and Specflow.

• Experience in writing XPath expressions to identify web elements using Selenium Web Driver.

• Experience in database query languages using MySQL for manual testing

• Proficient in using Git and understanding of branching strategies.

• Experience of testing Restful APIs/SOAP using POSTMAN.

• Have experience in an environment which uses Business Driven Development (BDD

• Ability to evaluate and identify opportunities to improve technology performance.

• Ability to prioritize and manage workload.

• Ability to stay continuously informed on current leading-edge technologies industry trends.

• Project management skills.

• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.

• Advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth of experience.
