About the team:

You would be a part of the team developing a real-time system for processing of foreign exchange products, including support for a customer dealing portal, interfacing to third party platforms/systems, trade capture, position/risk management, confirmation/settlement, and accounting. The system has web-based user interface and a rich technology stack.

What you will be doing:

  • Write specifications which would document client business needs/workflows

  • Translate functional specs from Product Management into development user stories

  • Develop verification criteria and tests for validating development user stories

  • Documenting newly developed functionality with a focus on the how to utilize the software to achieve customer’s operational objectives

  • Providing training to internal staff and external customers on realizing the value of our software

  • Putting together PowerPoint and training material for new software features

  • Provide customer support for software implementations and production software usage

  • Writing detailed test plans for newly developed or existing software features

  • Working with software development and product release teams to ensure timely delivery of targeted features

What you bring:

  • Bachelor/master's degree in economics or similar field

  • 5 + years of experience working in financial sector or software company with products for similar field. Greater experience in Foreign Exchange and accounting would be a plus

  • Strong analytical and requirements gathering skills

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and think clearly

  • Consistent attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly with team members and client staff

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize them accordingly

  • Knowledge of finance and business concepts

  • Ability to thrive in a teamwork environment

  • Able to read business specifications and assess proposed functionality regarding feasibility and scope

  • Fluency in English
