Position Overview:

As a Business Analyst within the Data & Integration team, you will play a crucial role in bridging various functions within the organization. From assisting architecture in the design phase, to understanding business requirements from stakeholders, and ultimately defining detailed requirements for the development team, you will be at the center of the action. Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary, international teams.
  • Operate at both high and low levels, including participating in the projects initiation by liaising with stakeholders and defining high-level plans, and at a low level by translating the requirements to detailed technical solutions ready to be picked up by the development team.
  • Possesses and applies broad knowledge of concepts and principles or exhibits technical expertise in a specific area; works with minimal instruction or guidance with appreciable latitude for un-reviewed action or decisions; performs moderately difficult assignments with diverse scope and complexity, requiring a great deal of originality, creativity and problem solving with initiative and independent judgment required.
  • Assist the product owner in analyzing the business domain, creating user stories, and grooming the product backlog.
  • Collaborate closely with the product owner to prioritize requirements and ensure the development team focuses on the most important items.
  • Drive analysis work by gathering and analyzing stakeholder needs, assessing technical and business impacts, and documenting project requirements.
  • Lead system testing activities to validate the solution developed by the development team.
  • Facilitate communication between the business and development teams to ensure requirements and testing are delivered effectively.
  • Possess a deep understanding of agile methodology and assist in implementing its principles within the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in business analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify core requirements and place them within the context of the overall solution.
  • Solid foundation of IT knowledge.
  • Sense of accountability and excellent communication skills, including advising, coaching, and presenting.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing expectations and challenges.
  • Knowledge of business analysis methods and best practices.
  • Familiarity with agile ways of working.
  • Strong team player attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with working in global teams.
  • Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Knowledge of asset management services or related industries.
  • Experience working in Master Data Management Tools such as Markit EDM.
  • Programming and/or IT background helpful from testing perspective.
