Job Description

Logistics:

  • This is a full-time position, with a Hybrid-schedule**, working an 8-hr. shift (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm **Due to the Hybrid nature of the schedule, local candidates are preferred (17 Technology Circle Columbia SC 29203)

What You'll Do:

  • Perform routine audits of finance area associates to ensure compliance with all internal and external standards and when a more detailed review of an employee's work or job function is needed.

  • Coordinate timely review of audit findings to identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend process improvements to management.

  • Notify the support area of system problems identified in the audit process and work with the training area to identify problems that may require additional or modified training programs to correct.

  • Complete in-depth research of errors detected by corporate audit. Review and respond to employee and management appeals to internal audit findings.

  • Produce division performance graphs/reports based on divisional audit results. Perform other special projects as assigned by management.


Required Education:

  • Associate degree in a job-related field

Degree Equivalency:

  • 2 years job related work experience


Required Work Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in an auditing, accounting, or related area.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Keen ability to ensure data accuracy

  • Solid experience and ability maintaining financial records

  • Ability to prepare financial data

  • Ability to research and understand financial information

  • Ability to update financial software

  • Able to perform general and needed clerical functions
