About the Role

Join us as Deputy Manager, Middle Office - Business Solutioning at AIA Investment Management!

This is a permanent role within our Middle Office team, primarily focusing on database maintenance, preparation of periodic client reports, regulatory reporting and addressing ad-hoc queries.

Responsibilities

As a team member of the Middle Office team, his/her key responsibilities include, but not limited to the following

  • Prepare periodic reports for various stakeholders (including regulatory surveys)
  • Maintain accounts and mandate database
  • Communicate changes in reporting requirements to vendor
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in current work processes
  • Handle adhoc requests

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree with minimum 3 years of working experience, of which some time had preferably been invested in the investment management reporting and/or client reporting space. Additional investment performance experience will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in data analysis and visualisation tools (eg. Excel, Power BI and Python)
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with attention to details
  • Independent self-starter who takes initiative to improve existing process
  • Highly self-motivated and positive
