You are:
A detail-oriented Security Analyst with a strong background in navigating security compliance processes and ensuring that our organization meets all relevant security standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in monitoring, assessing, and improving security frameworks in line with compliance requirements. The Security Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, recommend mitigations, and ensure the secure handling of sensitive information.
The work:
• Conduct thorough security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks (e.g., NIST, etc.).
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Manage the lifecycle of security compliance processes, from evaluation and implementation to ongoing monitoring.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats to information systems.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure the organization adheres to required security standards and frameworks.
• Prepare and submit documentation to regulatory bodies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Investigate security incidents and breaches, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on security protocols and compliance requirements.
Here's what you need:
• Active security clearance.
• Active CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent).
• Experience (3-5 years) in security compliance and risk management.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to thoroughly document processes and findings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex security issues.
• Ability to communicate complex security issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical experience with: Web Server Administration, Active Directory and/or Entra ID, Group Policy, etc.
• Experience in incident response.
• Familiarity with cloud security and emerging security technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Eligibility Requirements:

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
