Job Description

Regional Country Controller

Location: Netherlands, Rotterdam - hybrid model of work

Reporting to: LAR ACCOUNTING & CONTROLLING GROUP MANAGER

Your Responsibilities:

• Reporting of financial data for several countries including the preparation of HQ reporting packages
• Coordination of monthly, quarterly and year end close
• Full Country Accounting, Statutory and Tax responsibility
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are reconciled
• Primary contact for Our external and internal auditors and other outside financial consultants or authorities
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Finance Policies, SOX and US GAAP
• Collaborate with Internal Control for creation, changing and implementation of financial procedures and financial controls
• Provide technical accounting support to improve processes.
• Take part in international projects
• Monitor, challenges and specifies improvements to business systems and practices to ensure control and proper measurement of business activities.
• Report on and comments upon movements in actual.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• work experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a similar accounting function in an International company
• higher education in accounting or finance with a accounting emphasis ACCA, CMA, AA, RC, CPA or equivalent
• Fluency in Spanish
• Experience - reporting with the Oracle and ERP systems,

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
