THE ROLE

Are you ready to take on a leadership role that drives innovation and efficiency in a dynamic and impactful industry? Stryker is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Operations Excellence Manager to lead our Operations Network in the South Pacific region. (Other titles might be known as Process Improvement Manager, Process Efficiency Manager, Optimization Manager).

As the Operations Excellence Manager, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our Operations Network capabilities related to enterprise automation, IT systems, and quality compliance in Distribution Centres and Kit Rooms. Your strategic mindset and leadership will shape the future of Stryker's Operation division, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our Quality & Compliance framework.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Optimize Current Network:

  • Maximize efficiency of current technology through strategic optimization.
  • Establish and implement preventative maintenance, lead impactful projects, manage capacity, and ensure compliance through audits in Distribution Centres and Kit Rooms.

Design and Execute Future Network:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive long-term automation technology strategy.
  • Manage plans, budgets, and schedules, validate project work plans, commission installations, and implement risk-based test strategies with Agile methodologies for current and future automation projects.

Quality and Compliance:

  • Drive a quality culture through continuous process improvements
  • Oversee root cause analysis for CAPAs

People Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, develop, and engage a high-performing team
  • Provide direction, leadership, and support to drive ongoing performance and succession planning
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Proven leadership experience with genuine passion for developing talent and teams
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive experience in delivering solutions across technical environments
  • Quality-focused with acute attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
