Role purpose

The Senior Analyst & Transactions Manager is a critical member of our dynamic Capital Transactions team. Designed to support key strategic decisions regarding Acquisitions and Divestments of Shopping centres based on Vicinity’s Strategy made at the executive and board level. Reporting to the General Manager Capital Transactions, this role takes the lead in the financial modelling within the transactions team as well as managing/ supporting the start to finish process of Acquiring or Divesting of a centre.
The transactions team works specifically closely with Investment Management, Group Strategy and Wholesale Funds, as well as the wider business to deliver their tasks.

What will you bring?

You will have significant experience in transaction management and financial modelling at a senior management level.  Your advanced understanding of the operations and management of property, particularly retail property combined with your exceptionally strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise at senior executive levels will see you managing a broad range of stakeholders. You will have a commercial approach, excellent presentation skills, with an ability to present to senior management, executive committee and Board.  Your ability to lead, engage, influence a team of professionals, adhere to tight deadlines, execute multiple projects and manage ambiguity while making decisions quickly is critical.  Post Graduate studies in Property or equivalent and Valuation certification will be highly regarded.
