As a Risk Management Specialist, your mission will be to act in risk management in order to preserve value for EBANX in a sustainable and transparent manner. You will also be responsible for:
- Leading the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of risk management processes, with a specialized focus on the Payment Institution
- Conducting regular and comprehensive mapping, testing and analyses to ensure the robustness and effectiveness of risk & control matrix
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to integrate risk mitigation strategies throughout the organization
- Identifying and implementing process improvements, with a strong emphasis on operational resilience
- Developing, reviewing, and disseminating comprehensive policies, standards, procedures, and manuals related to risk management
- Ensuring strict compliance with internal and external audit recommendations, as well as adherence to regulatory requirements
- Promoting and embedding a risk-based approach across the Payment Institution and Global Governance.
- Preparing, reviewing, and updating detailed reports, minutes, and materials for internal Committees
- Preparing reports, conducting continuous analysis, and managing risks associated to internal risk assessment, effectiveness and product risk assessment
- Overseeing the management of liquidity, credit, market, and information security risks
- Maintaining proactive and consistent engagement with the risk and control matrix
Main requirements of the position:
- Assertive communication;
- Critical and analytical thinking;
- Open to feedback and continuous learning;
- Advanced English proficiency (reading, writing and speaking);
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or post-graduation with interface in Risk, Compliance areas;
- Experience in risk management roles;
- Strong project management skills, with experience handling multiple initiatives;
- Strong team collaboration and cross-functional communication skills.
