The Opportunity
This position works out of our location in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH) in the Abbott Diabetes Care division that is focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.
As the Business Operation Solution Manager (m/f/d) you will be part of the EMEAP Business Operations Team and responsible for the stability and availability of all our business platforms, to ensure the best digital experiences for our customers. You will drive the strategic planning of product development and processes that ensures efficient scalability and speed. Doing so, customer value creation is at the forefront of everything you do.
What You’ll Do
- Executing on EMEAP Digital Operations by shaping, developing, and implementing the ADC CX and SCM strategy and solutions in close alignment with global and local Digital Excellence strategy
- Identifying, developing, and implementing opportunities for digital innovations with internal and external partners enable new business capabilities
- Ensuring the run operation and enhancement of current application in collaboration with Internal and external stakeholders
- Executing requirement definitions and priority setting on a program level and act as business partner in large complex program
- Being actively involved in innovation and change projects with different functional teams in globally, on area or within countries
- Building and maintaining strong cooperation with BRM and IT team, External 3rd Parties and Countries
- Analyzing and improving existing processes and implement new (smart and lean) processes if and where appropriate
- Shaping the current digital infrastructure and IT landscape with delivery partners and developing and improving processes and quality along an omni-channel customer journey
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Post graduate diploma, university degree or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of work experience in e-commerce, supply chain, and customer experience area with experience in buildup and use of IT solutions
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Med. Tech., Pharma, or consumer good
- Proven track record in leading internal IT delivery teams and service provider governance
- Proven project management and organizational skills (classical & agile)
- Action and solution-oriented Team-player who takes on accountability
- Strong analytical skills and ability to document business requirements and qualify and quantify their effects
- Distinct business acumen and excellent communicator
- Fluent in English (other European language is a plus)
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Engineering, Business Computer Science, Computer Science Media. MBA is preferred
- Understand and master of at least 2 of the areas: Supply chain management, Customer experience; E-commerce Solutions
- Experience in a mass market environment
- Practical experience in CRM and SCM solutions
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational execution and delivery, including the coordination of relevant resources
- Experience in working in international teams
