Leads a team of Financial and Competitive Analysis Professionals responsible for developing Price-To-Win targets for Sector Priority pursuits in multiple billion dollar range annually.  Assists capture teams in developing bid/win strategies. Conducts research and analyses to develop tops down and bottoms up recommendations relevant to bid price and price strategy.  Performs customer and competitor black hats.  Supports cost proposal development by providing key cost assumptions and competitor ghosting. Throughout the process, works to make sure capture teams have high quality work products to inform capture and proposal execution.  Ensures that all data gathered in support of this function is ethically sourced.

Location based on site in McLean, VA; Linthicum, MD; Elkton, MD, Orlando, FL; or Huntsville, AL. Willing to support a hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

  • 8 plus years of experience in performing competitive pricing and competitive analysis/assessments both domestically and internationally, with 5 to 8 plus years of that experience as a senior manager responsible managing people, budgets and sub contractors (consultants)
  • Experience in developing trend analysis on competitor and customer bid and buy tendencies
  • BS/BA degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or similar discipline. Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience in performing cost strategy with focus on design to cost.
  • Experience developing training curriculum associated with the CA/PTW function
  • In depth knowledge of US government contracting, defense and military budgets and appropriations
  • Experience working directly with capture teams in assessing their competitive posture and assisting in the identification of discriminators and tactics to improve overall probability of win
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Requirements

  • MA/MS degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or similar discipline
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

Salary Range: $149,700.00 - $259,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
