The Opportunity:

Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Incident Response Manager (M1) to join the DGS-X program located at Langley AFB. The successful candidate will report directly to ISSM and manage an Incident Response team of their own, while meeting the following requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining cyber security protection of the AF DCGS OA infrastructure, data, and applications.

  • Develop methods of Threat Modeling, demonstrate methods of optimizing network security by locating vulnerabilities, identifying objectives, and developing countermeasures to either prevent or mitigate the effects of cyber-attacks against the system, under development and sustainment.

  • Responsible for developing TTPs and SOPs to deploy and sustain a successful Cyber Operations Center.

  • Responsible for creating and maturing content in cyber operations platforms.

  • Provide expert technical analysis of enterprise cyber posture and provides in-depth recommendations on hardening network architecture.

  • Conducts assessments against defensive mechanisms.

  • Manage a team of highly trained cyber operations personnel; utilizing emerging threats and intelligence reporting to develop the most advanced capabilities possible for a cyber operations center.

  • Assist in formulating, implementing, and maintaining corporate security policies tailored to the OA DCGS networking environment.


Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Clearance: Top Secret/SCI.

  • Years of Experience: 4+ years minimum.

  • Bachelor’s degree in IS Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Degree is negotiable with 4 years of additional IT or Cyber experience.

  • DOD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II (Security+ or equivalent).

Desired:

  • AF DCGS experience.
  • Knowledge with SIEM and Log management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as part of our 24/7 operations.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
