Responsibilities

You will work together with another team called the Information Technology Center(ITC) in Japan to manage IT devices at the BRAIN sites.  ITC is responsible for managing IT devices at all sites in Japan, while you will be responsible for understanding your BRAIN site's business requirement and for being the single point of contact for IT topics at the sites.  Overall IT devices deployment, replacement and maintenance will be led by the ITC Engineer and you will support them by coordinating between the ITC, Vendors and Business users as needed.  You will support IT topics at daily operations and projects at the Site IS level. 

  • Support deployment, replacement and maintenance of IT devices for both Valeo Standard devices and Local specific devices at BRAIN sites.

  • Support IT topics at project by summarising business requirements for IT and share it to the ITC to define solutions to be deployed.

  • (Other team, Information Technology Center(ITC) team is responsible for providing technical solutions and execution of configuration), while this role IT Support is responsible for coordinating between IT Center and business department for actual deployment.

  • Manage infrastructure incidents by conducting investigation and by hearing from users, and escalate to the ITC and the Global Support Team.  You will act as an onsite support who has physical access to hardwares.

  • Manage IT asset inventory at sites such as PCs, SmartPhones, Printers, Network Switches, Wi-Fi Access Points (devices on server are managed by ITC such as VM, DBs, UPSs, Switch).

  • Manage procurement process of IT devices by from receiving quotations, ordering till decommissioning

  • Manage physical location and physical conditions of IT devices at the sites.

  • Monitor IT devices conditions by checking versions, errors, licences, etc. on Valeo Standard Quality Control Tool and request to respective teams to take action as needed.

  • Coordinate an annual Disaster Recovery Plan(DRP) test for IT.

  • Support miscellaneous Site IS (Information Systems) Department duties.
