Profile Summary:

The Health Account Solutions Service Director owns the client engagement responsibilities for a team of Relationship Managers; responsible for day to day and ongoing client relationship engagement activities in support of Voya’s Health Account Solutions clients.  In addition to leading and developing a high functioning team, this position is responsible for establishing workflow and processes that will result in measurable contributions to block management, retention and profitable growth for the organization.

Contributions You'll Make:

  • ​ Leads and develops the Health Account Solutions Relationship Management (RM) team to deliver overall results for assigned blocks of business; while providing a positive work environment, fostering teamwork, growth, and maintaining high team morale.
  • Partners with the Health Account Solutions Plan Management leadership team to align on overall strategy in managing the Health Account Solutions block of business; including but not limited to case assignment, Relationship Manager/Plan Manager alignment, and roles and responsibilities for ongoing client engagement.
  • Drives a strong culture of performance and consistent client centric engagement process and improvement across the Health Account Solutions RM team.
  • Identifies and implements best practices across the Health Account Solutions RM team. Supports development within the team, providing access to additional training and growth opportunities.
  • Ensures all interactions consistently focus on delivery of a service model that aligns to the needs of the HR teams we serve.
  • Partners with operations, marketing, sales enablement, and sales training leaders to identify and drive development of effective processes and tools.
  • Supports issue resolution in a collaborative and productive fashion.
  • Involved in strategic business process initiatives including regular efficiency and customer experience improvements.
  • Hires, trains, develops, evaluates, and conducts performance reviews. Ensures overall expectations for each Health Account Solutions RM is met within the team.


Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • At least 5-10 years of work experience in the insurance or financial services industry, with a minimum of 2 years of management experience.
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability and desire to motivate and lead in a fully remote team-based environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, time management and delegation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, persuasion, and conflict management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that enable engagement cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization.
  • A track record of working with other leaders across the value stream on projects.
  • Ability to utilize a data-driven approach for decision making, both in day-to-day leadership and strategic tradeoff analyses.
  • Understanding of the Health Account Solutions business and comprehensive knowledge of company products and services.
  • BA degree or equivalent experience is required.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$148,500 - $185,620 USD
