Project Management Coordinator

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will report to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for providing project, administrative, and managerial support for Operations staff.

  • Provide department management with project management support on an as needed basis.
  • Perform special projects as requested by manager and leadership team.
  • Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder and project meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Create and manage communications, distributions, and information organization.
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials and updates.
  • Liaise with large capital project teams to provide updates to operation staff.
  • Coordinate project and site workshops and engagement events.
  • Implement tools, techniques and processes to provide or build information to enable informed decision making.
  • Creating and managing business processes for staff support.
  • Coordinate training, access, and needs for new/visiting staff.
  • Train and support staff on business processes, expenses, purchasing, etc.
  • Provide backup support to site administrative assistant(s).

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The executive administrative professional we seek is a dynamic individual with these qualifications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED and 4 years of senior administrative experience OR
  • 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience OR
  • Associate’s degree and 2 years of senior administrative experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative, goal oriented and results driven.
  • Experience and expertise with Excel, Powerpoint, Teams / Sharepoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge and experience with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Smartsheets.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and effectively present information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, active listening, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to influence others while fostering a value-based environment of high performance and trust.
  • Demonstrated creativity in anticipating and solving complex project issues.
  • Administrative Assistant experience.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to run multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
