Job Description:

Clinical IT Solutions and Support Specialist

Clinical IT Solutions and Support Specialist is responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting software applications within an organization. This role involves working closely with business units to ensure that applications meet user needs and are effectively integrated into the organization's technology environment. The specialist also provides ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and training to ensure optimal application performance and user satisfaction.

As an Elara Caring Clinical IT Solutions and Support Specialist, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Application Implementation: Oversee the installation, configuration, and customization of software applications
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to users experiencing issues with applications. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related problems, escalating complex issues to developers or vendors as necessary
  • User Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users to help them effectively use new applications. Develop training materials and user guides to assist with application adoption
  • Project Coordination: Work with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful application implementation. Participate in planning, testing, and deployment phases, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope

What is Required?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or other related field required
  • Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry work experience
  • 5 + years of IT or business experience running or supporting a PCS business Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, display excellent judgment, and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software management applications
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of quality and performance improvement processes and programs implementation
  • Up to 10% travel within the U.S

You will report to the VP Clinical IT Solutions.
