We’re looking for a Council Facilitator II to join our People Team!

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary contact, planner and in person Council facilitator for the APAC Region that includes offices in Singapore (home office), Sydney, Mumbai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Tokyo and other regional offices that could open in the future

  • Lead Councils and bring innovative programming such as events and team activities (e.g., art projects, cultural events, retreats, and other group building activities, etc.) to regional Snap offices.

  • Optimize resources to achieve targets and adhere to timelines

  • Collaborate with other team members to identify, design, and implement opportunities for Council while ensuring clear communication and transparency of roles and expectations to streamline programming

  • Widen Council engagement throughout company and in support of business needs 

  • Attend internal team meetings, retreats and trainings 

  • Provide facilitation support to ensure continuity of team operations during the absence of other team members

  • Stay current with Snap internal communications, update weekly Council team tracking documents, complete administrative tasks and effectively collaborate on strategic plans

  • Perform ad hoc Council-related responsibilities as needed

  • Support general development, onboarding and curriculum design as needed 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to lead and manage group facilitation

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support team and organizational objectives

  • Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in delivering presentations and conveying information to diverse and large audiences

  • Self-starter who can start fast and produce quality work by demonstrating a strong ability to manage time by effectively prioritizing work with specific action plans, identifying risks, and communicating goals

  • Excellent in establishing and managing internal and external relationships and ability to coach others; solid source of judgment and expertise, ability to influence in a complex, fast-paced environment

  • A passion for people and desire to consistently be a positive influence on the community

  • Acts as a change agent to drive large scale improvement

  • Proven experience in demonstrating cross-cultural sensitivity and effectively engaging with diverse teams and partners

  • Expertise in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google calendar, and Google Sheets

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively in a deadline driven environment

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 3+ years Council or group facilitation or related experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Council Facilitator or Trainer

  • Native or bilingual proficiency in Mandarin
