Job Description:
The responsibilities include:
Financial Management
Lead the financial management activities for given area with focus on :
proper set-up of financial structure in ERP systems,
accurate and timely execution of month-end closing activities (including calculating journal entries in compliance with DXC accounting policies, reporting estimate and variance analysis),
accurate and timely execution P&L forecasting and budgeting activities (including gathering the inputs from business stakeholders, updating forecast system and files and explaining the variance analysis to business and finance stakeholders),
accurate and compliant revenue recognition and revenue planning for the account
accurate and timely Balance sheet management & reporting (including following-up the unbilled revenues)
Responsible for solving various financial issues related to given area involving the business and finance stakeholders
Understand and challenge current business practice, identify and implement initiatives to streamline finance and business processed related to given area
Maintain in place a strong control in compliance to DXC policies, procedures and business practices; maintain SOX compliancy following the SOX procedures that are put in place for the processes
Manage various ad hoc finance/business analysis and requests
Participate to annual and periodical audit (internal & external)
Participate and contribute to corporate and team initiatives and projects as required

EMEA & Country Business Finance teams
Country Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team
Country Sales Finance team
Country Controllership Finance team
Country Order to Cash (O2C) team
Financial Analyst explains & elaborates to all stakeholders the financial state of the accounts and becomes a trusted financial advisor to the business.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications
In depth financial knowledge (finance policies, procedures, processes, tools) with preferably 6+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, especially in services / project business and/or commercial agreements
University degree (Finance preferred – min. Bachelor level) / MBA / ACA / ACCA
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP preferably)
Good computer skills in general, especially Excel
SAP knowledge (nice to have)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work in a well-planned and organized manner
Ability to work independently and take initiative sometimes in an uncertain environment
Ability to adapt quickly to change
Flexible with working hours
Self-motivated and good team player in multi country teams
Very good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English (verbal and written) and German (nice to have)
