THE JOB

As National Director of New Venue Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the growth of new venue operations food and beverage operations across the entire owned and operated enterprise. This role will work alongside a multitude of departments to ensure a seamless onboarding and design integration of new venues; Amphitheaters, Theaters or Clubs. This individual will see the project from start of the design process all the way through the opening phase and turn the building over to the Director of Food & Beverage once all aspects of the operation are fine tuned.

In addition, this role will design any large infrastructure that is intended to house F&B operations, working alongside third party vendors to maximize efficiency and investments. Adherence to all local municipality code is imperative when designing new venues or new equipment.

Detailed Responsibilities 

  • Create a strong working with Blueprint Studios to ensure that all planning and design sets match the F&B experience. A strong alliance here will ensure that we have the correct design elements from the beginning and help drive cost effectiveness.
  • Ultimately responsible for all Opening F&B Training and Timelines. Keeping effective communication to align with all departments.
  • Signage is developed to bring cohesion to the project and envelopes all design elements to match Brands and guests’ interaction.
  • Align with Facilities Dept to make sure that all budgeting, accounting standards are followed during the development and ordering process.
  • Collaborate with accounting and analytics teams to make sure that all data is driving the investment and billing is accurately tied up once delivered.
  • Partner with operations and executives to socialize and clearly explain financial goals of each piece of investment.
  • Work with concessionaire and Operations team to set up training calendars for new venue, ensuring all new team members are adequately trained and prepared for first show.
  • Design all infrastructure to house the necessary inventory and smallwares to be effective at peak levels of business.
  • Partner with Sponsorship to make sure any collaborative infrastructure is designed effectively and represents both a Brand standard and effective for the fan interactions
  • Work with Analytics team to understand each of the venues programs and how efficient they continue to be executed.
  • Working with operations teams to understand analytical data and identify gaps in infrastructure to continue driving revenue growth.  
  • Align with Team IT to factor in all POS and Network needs.
  • All Premium elements match the venue standard and operation service elements are included in designs from the first design meetings.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Here is the kind of National Director of New Venue Operations we are looking for: 

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience with hospitality management and design, revenue control, financial reporting.
  • Basic level of Design Software efficiency.
  • Ability to communicate financial results effectively to upper management.
  • Business Degree and/or CPA certification is preferred.
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Travel is integral part of this role success and ability to travel for at least 50% of the year is a must.
