The Sales Enablement team creates, develops, and delivers resources to Artisan’s sales teams to accelerate and drive sales growth. The Director will step into a newly created leadership role, responsible for building, leading and developing this team and driving the strategic direction of a critical function. This role will work directly with Artisan’s broader leadership team, requiring proven experience collaborating and presenting at the executive level.

The candidate must demonstrate an ability to communicate cross-functionally to design and implement a sustainable, documented, and flexible function. Additionally, the Director will bring a deep understanding of the investment management sales landscape, data and analytics processes, and have the ability to seek out human and technical solutions that solve for business challenges through technology and training.

Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000

Specific placement within the provided range will be determined by an individual’s geographic location as well as relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Associates may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon Firm and individual performance.

Responsibilities

The candidate can expect to:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership team to understand historical and future trends, goals and firm priorities
  • Assess the current capabilities through detailed assessment of the team, processes, data and tools
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales enablement strategies in alignment with priorities and in response to analysis
  • Collaborate and align with global distribution teams to understand their requirements while institutionalizing and centralizing our sales enablement capabilities, processes, tools and data sources
  • Provide recommendations in the areas of digital content, CRM Integration and analytics, KPI evaluations, training and development and AI capabilities
  • Create plans to engage clients and prospects at the right time and place through the right medium
  • Analyze sales performance data and digital marketing campaigns to detect trends and identify opportunities
  • Lead and develop a team of six individuals in Milwaukee and London
  • Improve gross inflows, grow revenue, drive new business growth, effectively service existing book of business and enhance client experience

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of fifteen years of progressive experience in sales enablement, with some of that experience in a leadership capacity
  • Investment management industry experience required with deep understanding of the sales and marketing landscape, and technical knowledge and operating experience across asset classes (equity, fixed income, alternatives)
  • Expert proficiency with Salesforce and/or other CRM platforms
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decisions
  • Proven leadership and ability to manage, build and lead high quality teams and individuals
  • Superior presentation, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to collaborate, interact and communicate across all aspects of the firm and different stakeholders
