Under the direction of the Senior Financial Analyst, the Corporate Accountant will play a key role in supporting the finance team with general accounting, auditing, and continuous process improvements.

What You Will Do

  • Performs tasks to ensure financial functions are reconciled monthly, including accounts receivables, unearned revenue, prepaid expenses, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, long- term debt, capital lease, partners equity etc.
  • Performs professional complex accounting work in accordance with accounting principles and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Supports special projects and various accounting duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
  • 3-5 year’s experience with full cycle accounting & financial analysis.
  • Experience with Workday (ATS) is an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience using Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
