The Opportunity:

As a Travel Lead at the Corporate Enterprise Services Center (CES), you may provide coaching and assistance to entry level personnel. You will review documentation received by the travel team to ensure timely payments, actions or other means of completing requests within expected timelines. You will work on process improvement projects involving identifying potential process improvement, submitting tickets and testing changes once designed.   You will also serve as backup and/or trainer on various travel roles.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up, prepare, assign checks, and create files to upload into the banking system for ACH payments.

  • Print physical checks and prepare for mailing.

  • Process domestic and international wires.

  • Research various payment issues.

  • Process currency conversions.

  • Process manual travel reclasses and research travel reclass tool issues.

  • Process Cash Advance requests.

  • Serve as Chrome River Admin for system access.

  • Resolve Service Now Travel inquiries.

  • Oversee travel reclass process and test issues that arise.

  • Work with department treasurer to ensure travel payments are processed.

  • Support team members to assist with individual workloads.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Travel Manager.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • 5+ years of treasury and/or  travel reimbursement experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe.

  • Must be customer focused.

  • Willingness to learn new technology to improve reporting functionality and process management in the Travel department.

  • Perform other duties with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Desired:

  • Experience with CostPoint 8.1, ChromeRiver, COGNOS, ServiceNow, Workday.

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business or equivalent experience.

  • Government accounting experience.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$35,776 - $71,100
