What You Will Do

We are seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to join our People Team on a 9-month fixed-term contract..This role is pivotal in supporting the People function, working closely with HR, managers, and employees to implement HR programs, policies, and initiatives. The HR Generalist will provide hands-on support in employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and benefits management, ensuring the smooth operation of HR activities during the contract period.

  • Employee Relations:
    • Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
    • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
    • Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Performance Management:
    • Assist in the administration of performance management processes.
    • Help track and analyze performance metrics to support decision-making.
    • Assist in developing performance improvement plans and tracking employee progress.

 

  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
    • Prepare and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
    • Process HR-related paperwork such as new hire forms, benefits enrollment  and terminations.
    • Support payroll activities and collaborate with Finance as needed.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes and inquiries.
    • Work with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate administration.
    • Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires and open enrollment periods.
  • Compliance and Policy Implementation:
    • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance
    • Support HR audits and compliance reviews.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR initiatives forward.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in HR roles or related positions.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in Workday would be a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • This is a 100% in office role.
