HR People Services Operations Specialist (with German)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Employee Queries: Manage HR Services (hire to retire) and Payroll Operation matters through cases, chat, or phone.
  • Prepare Documentation: Create HR & Payroll documents in compliance with legal regulations and collective agreements in Germany, ensuring accurate data entry into our systems.
  • Provide Advisory Services: Offer guidance on transactional HR matters, policies, and procedures to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Conduct data quality checks and corrections to facilitate a smooth monthly payroll cycle.
  • Address Payroll Inquiries: Answer payroll-related questions or liaise with payroll vendors for resolutions.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, HR Business Partners, Partner Teams, and vendors to ensure seamless operations and a positive employee experience.
  • Optimize Processes: Participate in knowledge transfers and process optimization through solution-oriented problem-solving.

Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both German and English.
  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in HR Operations and/or Payroll, preferably within the German or Austrian market.
  • Data Management Skills: Exceptional attention to detail in data management.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience working on HR/payroll system/application.
  • Confidentiality & Integrity: Ability to maintain rigorous confidentiality and integrity with personal information.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Excellent communication skills and a focus on providing a positive customer experience.
  • Problem-Solving Attitude: Pragmatic and solution-driven mindset.
  • Self-Organization: Strong organizational skills, reliability, commitment, and flexibility.
  • Working model: Ability to work in a hybrid mode with 2-3 days a week in the office

Preferred Skills (not a must):

  • Experience with leading HR applications such as Workday, SuccessFactors, SAP or ServiceNow is highly valued.
