As an OCT TPM Program Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for successfully develop, deploy, and sustain TPM Methodologies and Systems through all levels of manufacturing organization.

 

Job Responsibilities 

 

TPM Methodologies 

  • Be an expert in TPM methodologies deployed as part of TPM 2.0 – 7 step approach, and coach fab process and support area SMEs on these methodologies and corresponding systems. 

  • Drive development and deployment of TPM methodologies and systems to improve Safety, Scale, Speed and Quality. 

  • Responsible for performing certification of the TPM core teams at site level. 

  • Responsible for ensuring TPM training documents, LEs are up to date and any required updates are made in a timely manner (in addition to Periodic Document Reviews) 

  • Responsible for owning respective TPM methodologies, adoption and execution at sites, and continuous improvements. 

  • Responsible for setting TPM roadmap beyond step7 (KPI based performance to plan metrics) in collaboration with site champions and leaders. 

TPM Systems 
 

  • Be an authority in GWP2.0, Tickets System and drive continuous improvement and coach peers and core teams at site level. 

  • Drive development and deployment of tools and systems that enable improvements for Availability Loss (UD, SD), Rate Loss and Quality Loss. 

  • Accountable for meeting IPO Dashboard metrics at site level 

  • Accountable for GWPSharing metrics at site level and supporting site core teams by gathering network feedback on any clarifications and additional data required. 

  • Accountable for meeting the performance and usage metrics on TPM SEAL BKM systems (OPSF projects) at site level. 

  • Responsible for “TPM Channel” adoption at site level to promote core team – core team collaboration and enable Virtual Clustered Scale 

 

TPM Forums: 
 

  • Participate in Site TPM Exec Meetings and share global programs and performance to plan. 

  • Participate in Area TPM steering meetings and drive adherence to TPM standards. 

  • Participate in Global TPM Site Champion meetings and TPM Program Owner forums to set direction, and drive adoption and implementation of latest programs and CIP activities. 

  • Collaborate with Maintain Equipment QMS on strategic roadmap and resolution actions. 

 

 

6S: 

 

  • Perform monthly 3rd party audits. Highlight good practices and opportunities, and drive resolution on gaps. 

  • Collaborate and Coach on 6S standards and best practices. 

  • Share 6S wins, innovative solutions deployed across the network. 

  • Drive strategic 6S improvement projects. 

 

 

Maintain Communication and Customer Relations 
 

  • Maintain a strong and open relationship with your OCT peer group and functional area team members within your home site.  

  • Communicate and respond to issues promptly, with a cadence appropriate to the issue's priority. 

  • Keep stakeholders and team members informed on project status, progress, and roadblocks/opportunities. 

  • Periodically follow up with the management team to ensure goals are being met and get assistance in the removal of any obstacles that are preventing their completion. 

  • Provide periodic progress updates on programs owned to both internal and external groups. 

 

Demonstrate Leadership   
 

  • Provide active mentoring and leadership on BKMs and Solutions. 

  • Provide support and mentorship for BKM implementation in your area(s) of responsibility. 

  • Create strong morale and team spirit, share wins and successes, foster open dialogue. 

  • Acknowledge team dynamics, build positive relationships, and address negative ones. 

  • Work with the Fab groups and the Central Team to maintain alignment in your area(s) of responsibility. 

Qualifications and Skills include, but not limited to:

 Education  

  • Required – bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Science 

 

Experience  

  • Atleast 5 years’ experience in Fab environment (required) 

  • Prior experience as TPM Site/Area champion and Equipment Owner (preferred) 

  • Strong background in Fab Operations, Process, Equipment and Micron Systems 

  • Good English skills and the ability to lead and coordinate with site and global teams. 

  • Good program management skills.
