Job Description:
This position is responsible for coordinating and managing all Human Resource activities of the Molecular Microbiology & Immunology (MMI). Provides high level HR administrative, and organizational coordination and support for MMI Postdocs, staff, students, & faculty level positions. Serves as a primary point of contact for OISSS and handles the visa process from start to finish. Maintains the MMI personnel database, manages all hiring and HR activities for the department, manages the postdoc and faculty appointment and reappointment process, manages all administrative systems and records for personnel, & provides overall support for the MMI HR needs. Provides support to the Department Manager, Chair and Faculty.
